The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Italy Giorgia Meloni congratulated the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Relations between Italy and Azerbaijan are excellent and have reached a high level of cooperation with the establishment of a truly strategic and multidimensional partnership. We intend to continue on this path, and I am sure that together we will be able to deepen our cooperation in all areas, starting with the energy sector.

I believe that we will also be able to combine our efforts to promote the prospects of peace, stability, and prosperity for the entire Caucasus region.
