How many areas have been cleared of mines?

Weekly information on the humanitarian demining operations carried out in the liberated territories has been released.

Axar.az was told by the Azerbaijan Mine Clearance Agency (ANAMA) that 39 anti-tank mines, 12 anti-personnel mines, and 452 unexploded ordnance (UXO) were detected and neutralized in the liberated areas during April 15-21, 2024.

Also, 1429.1 hectares of land was cleared of mines.

It should be noted that ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the State Border Service carried out mine clearance operations.
