Azerbaijan could not have existed without Heydar Aliyev's will.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the special representative of the Russian President on international cultural cooperation, Mikhail Shvydkoy.

"Today, I looked at several historical documents and sources that reflect the events of the history of Azerbaijan from 1990-91 to 1995. This period is the period of revolutions and uprisings in Azerbaijan, the time when the country was simply divided and a significant part was occupied. Without Heydar Aliyev's will, it would have been impossible to prevent the country's disintegration," Shvydkoy said.
