On June 24-25, occasional rain and lightning are expected in some mountainous and foothill regions mainly during the daytime hours.

Axar.az reports that this is stated in the weather warning of the National Hydrometeorological Service.

In separate places (Dashkasan-Gadabey, Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, Balaken-Sheki, Guba-Gusar, Nagorno-Shirvan, Nakhchivan MR, Lankaran-Astara) there is a possibility that the precipitation will be short-term showers and hail.

It is expected that water level in the rivers will increase, short-term floods and floods will occur in some rivers flowing through the Greater and Lesser Caucasus and the Lankaran-Astara region.
