Acton plan prepared for medical aid during F1 race

Baku City Circuit (BCC) and the Ministry of Health have developed an action plan on providing a variety of urgent and first medical aid during the Formula One European Grand Prix.

The International Automobile Federation has put forth a number of terms and requirements as to organizing and holding the race. To able to ensure the security and health of spectators during the race, medical brigades will stand ready along the track. Medical service will be available at all tribunes as well as in place where spectators are and where products are checked. In each area and most of the tribunes, there will be medical clinics.

Furthermore, there are some changes and innovations in the medical program.

“There is going to be a temporary Medical Center in an area of 300 square meters. This center will operate on a continuous basis during the race. This is where first aid will be provided to anyone injured during the race and the patient will then be transferred to a concerned hospital. The Central Hospital of Oilmen is going to be the main partner. In compliance with the requirements of the International Automobile Federation, a burn department will be created within this hospital,” the BBC said.
