Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Roland Price, the regional director for the South Caucasus of the World Bank.

At the meeting, the successful results of the joint projects implemented within the framework of long-term effective partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank and covering various fields were appreciated.

There was an exchange of views on issues related to the progress of currently implemented projects, as well as the preparation of the Bank's new Country Partnership Framework, which will cover the years 2025-2029, in accordance with the World Bank's activity directions and Azerbaijan's development priorities.

At the same time, prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank in a number of fields, including within the framework of COP29, were discussed.
