The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, at the invitation of the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Colonel-General Ruslan Jaksilykov, visited the brotherly country to watch the United-2024 international operational-tactical command-staff training.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Defense.

It was noted that General-Colonel Z. Hasanov was met by his Kazakh colleague Colonel-General R. Jaksilykov at the Aktau International Airport.

At the official welcome ceremony organized at the airport, the defense ministers passed in front of the honor guard. The national anthems of both countries were played accompanied by an exemplary military orchestra.

Within the framework of the visit, the Minister of Defense will watch the episodes of the Birlishtik-2024 exercise, which will be carried out at the "Oymasha" training ground and the Tokmak cape of the Caspian Sea.
