President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

"Dear Mr. President,

On the occasion of the national holiday of the Arab Republic of Egypt - Revolution Day, I sincerely congratulate you and all your people on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and convey my best wishes.

We attach great importance to our traditional friendly and cooperative relations with Egypt. Currently, there are good opportunities for deepening relations between our countries, expanding cooperation in various fields and enriching it with new content. The regular nature of our political dialogue has a positive effect on the development of our joint activities. In this regard, I would like to emphasize the importance of the agreements reached and the documents signed during my visit to Egypt at the beginning of June.

I am sure that we will make joint efforts in the future to strengthen our interstate relations, to fully benefit from the potential of our mutually beneficial cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral levels.
