Southport Mosque attacked amid vigil for stabbed children

A large-scale disturbance broke out in Southport, England, on monday as a vigil for three young girls who were tragically killed in a knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance workshop turned violent.

Axar.az reports that the unrest was sparked by far-right protesters, allegedly affiliated with the English Defence League, who were incited by unfounded social media rumors linking the 17-year-old suspect to Islam. The protesters clashed with police and attacked a local mosque, resulting in widespread chaos and destruction.
