Azerbaijan-Russia relations are an example for some neighboring countries.

Axar.az reports that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said this on August 6 when he received the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu.

The head of state noted with satisfaction the successful implementation of the decisions made by the political leaders of the two countries, namely the provisions of the Declaration "On mutual cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation".

Saying that Azerbaijan-Russia relations are an example for some neighboring countries, President Ilham Aliyev assessed this as an important security factor in the South Caucasus and the wider region.
