Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iraq Nasir Mammadov invited Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Masrur Barzani to COP29.

"On Monday, September 9, 2024, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Masrur Barzani met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iraq, Nasir Mammadov. During the meeting, Ambassador Mammadov sent an official invitation to Prime Minister Barzani to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) of the United Nations (UN) Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held in Baku at the end of 2024," the information stated.
