Istanbul hosted 17.37 million tourists last year

Last year, 17.37 million tourists visited Istanbul.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated this.

The head of state also noted that 56.7 million tourists visited Turkiye during the same period:

“Our target for this year is 60 million tourists and $60 billion. In the first seven months of the year, we hosted 35 million tourists. Despite the wars in our region, the tourism season is going very well. I believe we will meet our 2024 targets in tourism.”
