On September 19, with the participation of Leyla Aliyeva, the vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the founder and head of the "IDEA" Public Union, the yard surrounding the multi-storey buildings located on Abay Kunanbayev Street, Binagadi District, Baku City, where more than 1100 residents live, was improved and put to use by the residents.

Axar.az reports that within the framework of the event, Leyla Aliyeva participated in the mass tree planting action held together with "IDEA" volunteers and presented gifts to the young residents of the yard.

As in other areas landscaped within the framework of the "Our Yard" project, in the reconstructed next yard, the comfortable movement of people with disabilities was taken into account, the creation of favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups, the effective organization of the leisure time of young people and the increase of their interest in sports in the area, in order to increase their interest in sports. a covered football stadium, a chess field, various sports facilities, a playground for children have been built. At the same time, five chat rooms, numerous seats, bird nests and cat houses were created in the courtyard. In addition, new lighting poles, surveillance cameras were installed in the courtyard, facades and blocks of buildings were completely repaired, asphalt and roof covering, electric lines were updated.

In addition to the restoration of the existing greenery in the courtyard, a green strip was established by planting various types of trees and shrubs. In addition, "green fences" were created by planting common stone ivy and other creeping plants around the yard, which grow densely and prevent air pollution.

The main goal of the project is to make the courtyards in the capital area ecologically clean and beautiful, to restore greenery, to create a meaningful recreation environment, and to create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

Within the framework of the "Our yard" project, 153 common residential areas have been renovated and put to the use of residents.
