In an interview with the Armenian press, Armenia’s President Vahagn Khachaturyan discussed the return of Armenians to Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region.

Axar.az reports that this was mentioned in a statement issued by the Western Azerbaijan Community.

The statement emphasized that it is absurd for Armenia's leadership to reject Azerbaijan’s reintegration offer while discussing the return of Armenians who left Karabakh but ignoring the return of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia.

“This clearly demonstrates Armenia’s discriminatory policy. We strongly condemn Armenia’s disregard for the principle of reciprocity regarding returns and its violation of Azerbaijanis' right to return to Armenia. We demand that the Armenian government ensure a safe and dignified return of Azerbaijanis,” the statement stressed.
