Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Nadir Huseynov received on Thursday his Georgian counterpart Zviad Gonadze, who is on a visit to Baku.
During the meeting the sides discussed the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia, stressing the importance of regular consultations on consular issues in terms of taking appropriate actions to address the problems faced by the citizens of both countries.
Gonadze thanked the Azerbaijani government on behalf his country for helping allocate land for the construction of a new administrative building for the Georgian embassy in Azerbaijan.
The Georgian diplomat proposed to continue such meetings at the level of deputy ministers for the development of bilateral ties, exchange of experience and solution to problems within the authority of foreign ministries.
