A group of 33 travelers from the "Piki Reels" club in the UK, led by Belgian citizen Yves Bouvien, visited the historic Khudafarin Bridge located in the Jabrayil region.

Axar.az reports that the travelers familiarized themselves with the Khudafarin Bridge, situated over the Araz River. They were informed about the bridge and the atrocities and traces of crimes committed by the Armenian armed forces in our ancient homeland.

It was noted that the Khudafarin Bridges are universal valuable monuments of Azerbaijani architecture due to their connection to globally significant historical events, harmonious unity with the beautiful landscape, and high architectural-engineering solutions. One of the bridges located along the ancient Silk Road has 15 arches, while the other has 11. These bridges, dating back to the 12th-13th centuries, reflect the high level of craftsmanship that developed in Azerbaijan during the Middle Ages. It was noted that, like other areas, these locations also suffered destruction; during the years of occupation, homes were looted, and nature was devastated. Many historical religious sites were desecrated by Armenians, with mosques being used as livestock shelters. Graves were dug up and destroyed. It was emphasized that life began to revive in East Zangezur only after liberation from occupation, and significant projects are being implemented by our country.

From 2020 to 2024, 11 trips organized by major international travelers' clubs have been made to Karabakh and East Zangezur, with participation from over 400 renowned international travelers from more than 50 countries.

This visit by the "Piki Reels" club from the UK marks the 12th such trip. These visits are of exceptional importance for promoting the liberated territories within the framework of "black tourism" and showcasing the massive reconstruction and restoration efforts underway.
