Train schedule changes ahead of COP29

In preparation for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Baku on November 11-22, a technical break is being held on the Absheron circular railway line in order to take preventive measures for the safe and timely implementation of passenger transportation services.

Axar.az reports about this with reference to "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC.

According to information, a temporary change is being made to the schedule of trains departing on the Baku-Pirshagi-Sumgayit-Baku route during off-peak hours from October 30 to November 7.

On those dates, flights of high-speed electric trains departing from Baku at 09:30 and 10:00, and from Sumgayit at 10:00 and 11:00 on this route are temporarily canceled.

Other trains will run according to the schedule announced on September 16.
