Entry to COP29 lanes prohibited starting tomorrow in Baku

Special traffic lanes have been designated in Baku to ensure uninterrupted transport in connection with COP29. Private vehicles may use these lanes until the end of October 31.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency told.

From November 1, however, access to lanes will be prohibited on 26 streets and avenues, including Neftchilar, Heydar Aliyev, Khojaly, Shah Ismail Khatai, Parliament, Bulbul, and Azadliq avenues, as well as Zugulba Road, Airport, Zigh and Salyan highways, and Bunyad Sardarov, Hasan Seyidbayli, Sheikh Shamil, Mirzaaga Aliyev, Hasanoglu, Mikayil Useynov (toward Flag Square), Gulara Gadirbayova, Niyazi, Istiglaliyyat, Uzeyir Hajibayli, Koroghlu Rahimov, Mehdi Huseyn, Mikayil Mushfig, Hasan Aliyev, and Fatali Khan Khoyski streets.

The Agency advises road users to adhere to the requirements of traffic signs and road markings installed along these routes.
