The National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a yellow and orange warning for expected windy weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions on December 16.

Axar.az reports that the service told that in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Gakh, Balaken, Shamkir, Shabran, Siyazan, Tovuz, Ganja, Goranboy, Naftalan, Gadabey, Dashkasan, Saatli, Sabirabad, Hajigabul, Guba, Gusar, Gobustan, Shamakhi, Oguz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Yevlakh, Barda, Tartar, Aghdam, Salyan, In Shirvan, Neftchala, Khizi, Khachmaz, according to the yellow warning, southwest wind will blow intermittently and the wind speed will be 13.9-20.7 m/s.

In Sheki, Zagatala, and Mingachevir, according to the orange warning, it is expected that the west wind will blow intermittently and the wind speed will be 20.8-28.4 m/s.

The Slovak president also called on the parties to the conflict to sit down at the negotiating table as soon as possible.
