A phone conversation took place between the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin, and the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that during the call, Bastrykin informed that experienced staff from the central office of the Investigative Committee had been involved in the investigation of the plane crash in Aktau.

The two sides identified priority tasks within the framework of a joint investigation plan regarding the crash of the "Azerbaijan Airlines" aircraft and expressed their readiness for further comprehensive cooperation.

Bastrykin emphasized that complex investigative actions are currently underway. The goal is to determine all the causes and circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
