Aktau Aviation Commission meets with experts

The commission investigating the aviation incident near Aktau held a meeting with the participation of 17 international experts.

Axar.az reports that the work plan was defined by the commission. Thus, the full commission will visit the scene, review the hangar for the collection of aircraft elements, and make a joint decision on the date of commencement of the collection of aircraft elements.

The purpose of the commission's work is to determine the causes of the aviation incident and prepare recommendations for preventing such incidents in the future.

The commission investigating the aviation incident is headed by Kazakhstan's Transport Minister Marat Karabayev.

It should be noted that on December 25, the AZAL plane carrying out the Baku-Grozny flight was attacked by HHM forces in the Grozny airspace and the plane was seriously damaged. After that, the plane was not allowed to land at Grozny and Makhachkala airports. The plane, which was forced to fly to Kazakhstan, crashed near Aktau.
