Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko sent a letter of condolence to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev regarding the plane crash.

Axar.az reports that it is said in his condolence:

"Dear Ilham Heydar oglu, the news of the tragic death of people as a result of the accident of the AZAL airline near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan was met with deep sorrow and sadness in the Republic of Belarus.

Belarusians share the pain of the disaster that befell the people of Azerbaijan and the sorrow of the irreplaceable loss.

Dear Ilham Heydar oglu, at such a difficult time, I ask you to accept my words of sincere support to you, the relatives and relatives of the victims, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery."

It should be noted that on December 25, the AZAL plane carrying out the Baku-Grozny flight was shot down by Russian air defense systems in the sky of Grozny and was seriously damaged. The plane headed for Aktau crashed near the Aktau airport because it was not allowed to land. As a result of the accident, 38 of the 67 people on board died, and 29 survived.
