Rain and fog hit Azerbaijan on January 1

According to the information as of 10:30 on January 1, the weather conditions were mainly rainless in most regions, but on December 31, it rained intensively in the Lankaran-Astara zone.

Axar.az reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has released information about this.

Thus, the amount of precipitation was 40 mm in Astara and 18 mm in Lankaran.

The fog was observed in Sumgait, Dashkasan, Goygol, Ganja, Naftalan, Shamkir, Balakan, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Yevlakh, Goychay, Zardab, Kurdamir, Sabirabad, Jafarkhan, Lerik, visibility was limited to 200 meters.

The minimum air temperature was 4 in Baku and Absheron Peninsula, 1 degree of frost to 4 degrees of heat in Aran regions, 2 degrees of frost to 3 degrees of heat in Nakhchivan MR, 6 degrees of frost in mountainous regions, and 16 degrees of frost in high mountain regions.
