A commemoration ceremony was held at Military Unit N on the occasion of the birthday of Azerbaijan's National Hero Natig Gasimov, who rose to the peak of martyrdom while defending our lands during the First Karabakh War.

Axar.az reports that according to the Ministry of Defense, the ceremony began with a moment of silence to honor the memory of the National Leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan's independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty. The National Anthem of Azerbaijan was performed.

Speakers at the ceremony highlighted Azerbaijan's historical distinction for its heroes, discussing the heroic path of Natig Gasimov, his bravery, and courage. It was emphasized that the hero, who gave his life for the homeland, set an example for youth with his patriotism and fighting spirit.

At the end of the event, a film about the heroic deeds and military path of Azerbaijan's National Hero Natig Gasimov was screened.
