In line with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the requirements of ICAO Appendix 13, the preliminary report on the causes of the AZAL plane crash in Aktau will be published 30 days after the accident, that is, at the end of January 2025.
Axar.az informs, citing Repоrt, that this was stated by the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The investigation of the accident continues with the participation of all authorized international experts. It is noted that the team of experts works daily.
At the same time, in accordance with Appendix 13, the Commission plans to complete the investigation within 12 months.
The AZAL passenger plane, flying from Baku to Russia's Grozny, crashed on December 25 near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Of the 67 people on board, 38 died, 29 survived. According to preliminary data, the plane crashed as a result of physical and technical external interference.
