Massoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran received the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev.

Axar.az reports that the current state of Azerbaijan-Iran relations and future development prospects were discussed at the meeting, including further expansion of cooperation in economy, transport, energy, trade, investment, and humanitarian fields and the importance of implemented joint projects was emphasized.

At the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on regional and other issues of mutual interest.

It should be noted that Shahin Mustafayev is visiting Iran to participate in the 16th meeting of the Joint Interstate Commission on economic, trade, and humanitarian cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran.
