Nearly 4,000 people missing due to Armenian aggression

As a result of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan, 3,983 individuals have been registered as missing persons.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Secretary of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons, Gazanfar Ahmadov, during the presentation of the assessment report by the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) "Accounting for the Missing Persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan".

The Secretary of the State Commission mentioned that out of the missing persons, 3,209 are military personnel, and 774 are civilians:

"Of the 3,983 missing persons, 285 are women. As a result of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan, 1,702 individuals are registered in the Commission as having been freed from captivity and hostage situations. Among them, 419 are military personnel.
