In response to Russia's inquiry, Armenia informed that no official requests for the transfer of U.S. military equipment to the country have been received.

Axar.az reports this was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova.

"We saw these publications and promptly inquired with our Armenian colleagues. In the preliminary plan, we were informed that no such official requests have been received from Washington," she said, commenting on reports that the U.S. intends to transfer hundreds of pieces of equipment, transport, and machinery from its bases in Germany to training grounds in Armenia.

It should be noted that reports had been circulating about the U.S. intending to transfer military equipment from Germany to Armenia.
