In accordance with the 2025 training plan, based on modern combat methods, a tactical training adapted to real combat conditions was held in the Azerbaijani Army with the application of a new operational concept.

Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and other leadership of the Ministry watched the live-fire training.

The Minister of Defense reported that reconnaissance of the area is being carried out with various unmanned aerial vehicles involved in the training, information on the dislocation of conventional enemy targets and the movement of armored vehicles is being promptly transmitted to the combat control center.

According to the scenario, before the attack, artillery units and aviation vehicles struck the concentrated reserves and manpower of the conventional enemy, and passages were opened through mined areas.

During the training, personnel were evacuated by helicopters, a conventional enemy column was ambushed and neutralized, and support points were also captured.

It should be noted that the purpose of the tactical training is to increase the commanders' ability to make flexible decisions following the new operational concept developed, taking into account modern combat methods, to manage units in a mutually agreeable manner, as well as to improve their theoretical and practical skills.
