Presidential meeting may end Russian House standoff

Rossotrudnichestvo hopes that the situation regarding the Russian House in Baku will be resolved during a personal meeting between the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports this was stated by Deputy Head of the agency Pavel Shevtsov.

He noted that the Russian Foreign Ministry and Rossotrudnichestvo are working daily to clarify the position of the Azerbaijani side and the overall situation regarding the Russian House.

He said that Rossotrudnichestvo in Azerbaijan has gained good momentum in language programs, university cooperation, and collaboration through international organizations.

“A large number of young people from Azerbaijan are coming to take part in our ‘New Generation’ program, under the same Rosmolodezh initiative. This track is actively developing. We’ve seen it gain momentum in recent years, and it will continue to grow,” he concluded.
