New families settle in Sarijali and Ballija villages

In line with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the process of Great Return to the liberated territories continues.

Axar.az reports as part of this process, the next group of settlers has been sent to the Sarijali and Ballija villages in the Aghdam region.

In this phase, 34 families (141 people) have been relocated to the rebuilt Sarijalı village, and 21 families (83 people) have been relocated to Ballija village.

The relocated families are former internally displaced persons who had been temporarily housed in various regions of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

Currently, over 40,000 people live in the Karabakh and East Zangezur regions, including former displaced persons, those working on recovery and reconstruction projects, local employees in government structures, and specialists in healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy.
