Mine explosion injures ANAMA employee in Gazakh

A mine explosion occurred in the liberated Gizilhajili village of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, leaving one person injured.

Axar.az reports according to the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA).

According to the report, Elnur Pashayev, an ANAMA employee born in 1985, stepped on an anti-personnel mine while he was performing his duties.

Pashayev sustained minor injuries to various parts of his body.

He was taken to the district central hospital, where his condition is reported to be satisfactory and not life-threatening.

At around 9:45 a.m. on April 28, a man injured in a mine explosion was hospitalized at the Emergency Department of the Gazakh District Central Hospital.

The information was reported by the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB).

The 1985-born patient was diagnosed with lacerations around the eye area and the nose. After receiving necessary medical care, he was admitted to the hospital’s Surgery Department. His condition is reported to be stable.
