Azerbaijani Hajj begins May 25

The time of the Hajj pilgrimage for Azerbaijani pilgrims has been announced.

Axar.az reports that Vusal Jahangiri, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Administration (CMA), Head of the Hajj Electronic System, said that the first group will leave for the Hajj pilgrimage on May 25.

"It is expected that four delegations, each with 25 people or 180 people, will go to Hajj as part of the first group. Each 44 people will be led by an employee of the CMA," he said.

According to V. Jahangiri, the last group will leave on May 31: "The main Hajj rituals will take place on June 4. As soon as the pilgrims leave, the first rituals - Umreyi Tamatto - will be performed. Then, independent prayers are planned until June 4."

Recall that, according to the CMA, the cost of the pilgrimage package for one person is 5,950 US dollars.
