Azerbaijan joins Anatolian Phoenix drill

The international search and rescue exercise "Anatolian Phoenix - 2025" ("Anadolu Ankası - 2025"), held at the airbase in the city of Konya, Turkiye, with the participation of military personnel from various countries, has begun.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Defense informed about this.

First, the participants of the exercise watched exemplary flights presented by the "Turkish Stars" air group of the Turkish Air Force (TAF).

Then, a briefing was presented on the purpose, scenario, and area of ​​the exercise, the preparation process, safety rules, as well as the tasks to be performed at various stages.

It should be noted that our country is represented by pilots of the Azerbaijani Air Force, parachute and search and rescue service specialists, technical staff, and aviation vehicles in the international exercise, which will last until May 23 of this year.
