A 3.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Shamakhi.

Axar.az reports according to the Republican Seismological Service Center, the quake occurred 13 kilometers northeast of the Pirgulu station in the Shamakhi region.

"The earthquake, based on data from the Bureau of Earthquake Research, was not felt by residents," the statement said.

The tremor was registered at 6:40 a.m. local time, with its epicenter located at a depth of 6 kilometers.

A 3.6-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Shamakhi and Khizi regions, 15 km northeast of the Pirgulu station.

The information was provided by the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

The earthquake was felt at a magnitude of 4 at the epicenter and 3 to 4 in nearby residential areas of Shamakhi and Khizi.

It was reported that the tremor occurred at 10:18 a.m. local time, with its epicenter located at a depth of 5 kilometers.

For reference, a 3.7-magnitude earthquake also struck Shamakhi and Khizi yesterday at 4:02 p.m. local time. That tremor, at a depth of 7 kilometers, was also felt as a 4 at the epicenter and 3 to 4 in nearby residential areas.
