Russians can cross from Iran to Azerbaijan by land through the Astara border crossing.

Axar.az reports that this is stated in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Due to the closure of Iranian airspace, Russian citizens can leave this country by land through the Astara border crossing and go to Azerbaijan. It is possible to go from Israel to neighboring Egypt (Menahem Begin/Taba crossing) or Jordan (Sheikh Hussein crossing)," the text says.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also drew attention to the closure of land borders in Azerbaijan due to the quarantine regime.
