The temperature hits 40°C in lowland areas

According to the information as of 18:00 on July 13, the maximum air temperature was recorded in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic at 38 degrees Celsius, in the lowland regions at 40 degrees Celsius, and in the mountainous regions at 31 degrees Celsius.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the National Hydrometeorological Service.
