Lionel Messi scores 875th career goal

Lionel Messi made history once again, becoming the youngest player in global football to score his 875th career goal in Inter Miami’s 3-1 win over LA Galaxy.

Axar.az reports, citing Goal, he achieved it in the fewest matches ever - 1,116 in total. His strike came after a brilliant individual run, finishing with a shot that left the goalkeeper helpless, a moment reminiscent of his early Barcelona days.

During his time at Barcelona, Messi became a ten-time La Liga champion and won the Copa del Rey seven times, as well as the Champions League four times. In total, he played 778 matches for the Catalan club across all competitions, scoring 672 goals. Additionally, Messi has won the Ballon d’Or eight times.
