Following the FIA Formula 2 Sprint Race in Baku, two drivers received penalties.

Axar.az informs, citing the official Formula 2 website, Laurens van Hoepen (Trident) was given a 10-second time penalty for causing a collision with Cars 15 and 4 at Turn 2 on the opening lap. He remains 17th in the classification.

Kush Maini (DAMS Lucas Oil) received a 5-second penalty for hitting Amaury Cordeel (Rodin Motorsport) at Turn 2. As he was not classified in the Sprint Race, the penalty is converted into a three-place grid drop for the Baku Feature Race.

The Formula 2 Feature Race is scheduled to begin today at 11:00.
