Luka Modric, the Croatian midfielder currently at AC Milan, is planning a return to Real Madrid once he ends his playing career.
Axar.az informs, citing Defensa Central, the 40-year-old football player does not want to wait too long to accept Florentino Perez’s proposal to return to Real Madrid, either as an ambassador or as a coach.
His plan is to take a sabbatical year after leaving Milan to spend time with his family, and then begin the necessary coaching courses to work in Real Madrid’s youth academy.
Modric has expressed great enthusiasm for this role, as working with children is one of his main aspirations at the start of his coaching career.
Luka Modrić’s contract with Milan ends in the summer of 2026. He played for Real Madrid from 2012 to 2025.
