On November 20, 2025, the “Rescuer” men’s volleyball team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations played the return leg of the 1/32 finals at the Ministry’s Sports and Health Club arena in the Challenge Cup.

Axar.az informs according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, their opponent was Romania’s “Steaua” club.

After losing the away match 0:3, our team won the return game 3:1 (25:23, 25:17, 15:25, 28:26). A golden set was then played to determine which team would advance. “Rescuer” won the decisive set 15:13, securing a place in the 1/16 finals.

In the next round, our team will face Belgium’s “Lindemans” club. The first match will be held in Belgium on January 7, 2026.
