Former F1 driver Adrian Sutil arrested for fraud

Former Formula 1 driver, German Adrian Sutil, has been arrested on suspicion of fraud and embezzling a large sum of money.

Axar.az informs that the information was reported by Bild.

It was noted that during investigations in France, Switzerland, and Germany, several people, including Sutil, were detained by police.

The exact amount of money allegedly embezzled by Sutil is unknown.

Sutil is 42 years old. He competed in Formula 1 in 2006–2011 and 2013–2014, racing for the Spyker, Force India, and Sauber teams in different seasons. His best result was fourth place at the 2009 Italian Grand Prix.
