Footballer slips to death near Thai waterfall

French footballer Alexis Vergos has died while trying to take photos near a waterfall on Thailand’s Samui Island.

Axar.az reports that foreign media outlets said this.

The incident occurred near the Na Muang Waterfall while the footballer was on vacation.

The 22-year-old footballer slipped and fell on wet rocks while with his girlfriend. As a result, he suffered a severe head injury and died.

It was reported that the footballer’s girlfriend managed to survive by holding onto a tree branch.
