Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso dies at 76

Rocco Commisso, president of the Italian football club Fiorentina, has died.

Axar.az reports that the club's press service has released a statement.

The club's head died at the age of 76 after a long illness.

Fiorentina announced that the club's Viola Park training center will be named after Commisso.

Commisso bought Fiorentina shares and has been the club's president since 2019. Under his leadership, the Florence representative twice reached the UEFA Conference League (2023, 2024) and once the Italian Cup final (2023).
