Fataliyeva becomes Azerbaijan Women’s Chess champion

Winners were announced at the Azerbaijani Women’s Chess Championship, where the nation’s top female players competed in a series of intense matches to claim the prestigious title.

Axar.az reports that in the match for third place, Gulnar Mammadova defeated Turkan Mammadyarova with a score of 1.5–0.5.

In the championship final, Ulviyya Fataliyeva secured victory over Ayan Allahverdiyeva.

Fataliyeva triumphed 1.5–0.5 in the tiebreak, claiming the Azerbaijani Women’s Chess Championship title for the first time in her career.
