Azerbaijan wins 34 licenses

Azerbaijani athletes have won 34 licenses the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov told reporters March 9.

“I’m happy that the licenses in new kinds of sport have been won as well,” said Rahimov.

This suggests that the scope of sport is expanding in Azerbaijan, he said.
