Azerbaijani volleyball specialist Nargiz Ismayilova has been officially appointed to a high-level role by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) for a major continental fixture.

Axar.az reports that, according to the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, Ismayilova will serve as the CEV Supervisor for the highly anticipated Men's Champions League quarter-final match.

The clash features Italy’s powerhouse Cucine Lube Civitanova facing off against Poland’s elite side, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie.

It should be noted that the officiating crew for the match, taking place today in Italy, includes Portuguese referee Ricardo Ferreira and Greek official Vasileios Vasileiadis.
