Kady Borges hits 40 goals for Qarabag

Kady Borges has reached the milestone of 40 goals for Qarabag.

Axar.az reports, citing the official website of the Professional Football League, the Brazilian midfielder scored a brace in the 2–2 draw against Sabah in the semi-finals of the Azerbaijan Cup.

As a result, he has taken his total to 40 goals in his 123rd appearance for the Aghdam-based club.

The South American has recorded 24 goals in the Premier League (70 matches), 6 in the Azerbaijan Cup (14 matches), and 10 in European competitions (39 matches).

Kady has become the 18th player in Qarabag’s history to score 40 or more goals.

It should be noted that Borges netted his first goal for Qarabag on August 12, 2021, in a home match against AEL (Cyprus) during the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
