Rescuers win Azerbaijan Volleyball High League title

On April 18, the final of the Azerbaijan Men’s Volleyball High League was held at the Volleyball Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Axar.az reports that the decisive match was played between Rescuers (Xilasedici) and Army (Ordu).

In a closely contested encounter, Rescuers came out on top.

They claimed a 3–1 victory (24–26, 25–16, 27–25, 25–21) to be crowned champions, while Army finished as runners-up.

The championship trophy and medals were presented by Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and Chairman of the State Customs Committee and President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation Shahin Baghirov, along with other officials.
