Ex-Qarabag striker Juninho scores stunning goal -

Former Qarabag FK striker Juninho, who now plays for Pumas UNAM, has scored a spectacular goal for his current team.

Axar.az informs that the 29-year-old Brazilian forward scored during a tense away match against Club America in Round 17 of the Mexican league, which ended in a 3–3 draw. He opened the scoring for his side with a precise finish.

The goal was his eighth in 18 appearances in the Mexican championship.

It is also noted that Juninho played for Qarabag from summer 2023 until early 2025, scoring 42 goals in 81 matches. During his time at the club, he made 48 league appearances (23 goals), 6 cup matches (5 goals), and 27 European competition appearances (14 goals). He won both the Azerbaijani league title and the domestic cup with Qarabag.
